We have known the Emodi's all our lives as we live on the same road. Mrs Emodi was always industrious and hard working. She was indeed the backbone of their family. It was with shock that we heard Mrs Emodi had gone to rest on December 22nd 2021. May her soul rest in peace and take care of the loved ones she has left behind. She will be missed.

Aunty dearest, I am heart broken 💔 and confused as to how I am going to cope with you gone but I am trusting God to see me through.
You were such a lovely, beautiful, kind and loving mother your children and the rest of us who called you Mummy or Aunty A . Y
I will forever cherish the good times with you either singing and dancing in church or going to sainsbury late in the evening after spending 4hrs in the shop with you gisting about anything and everything.
I will miss buying my beautiful one in town wrappers from you and of course your unique soft spoken voice.
Aunty Sco - Sco as I would call you as I push the door to your shop open and your response of Viv dear I shall no longer hear.
The last time I came to the shop with my daughters to select and order wrappers for her marriage, and on our way out you called me back and gave me a very long big hug ,little did I know it would be the last.
You always admired the way I tied my gele so at your wale I tied a bright yellow one with coral beads just for you my second Mummy.
You were a great woman
A loyal true friend
A rare gem
A humble and God fearing woman
A mother of mothers
You shall be sorely missed by us all
Aunty dearest Adieu and fare thee well
"Dein na mum"
May your sweet gentle selfless soul find eternal rest in the bosom of our creator.
